This song carries a very sentimental and heartfelt message and can be used any time you're welcoming somebody back. Make it more personal by altering the lyrics to include someone's name. Or have students hold up photos of the guests of honor.

Even though the piece has three parts indicated, it is written for unison, 2-part, or 3-part mixed voices. It will absolutely work in unison. It will also work with just parts 1 and 2, or with all three parts. The third part is written in bass clef for your lower, changing, and changed voices. The solo at the beginning and at the end is also optional. The kit contains rehearsal tracks of part 2 and part 3. (from Music K-8, Vol. 14, No. 4)
