You know that feeling on Christmas morning, just before dawn? All is quiet and maybe, just maybe, you can hear bells start to ring in the distance, perhaps from a valley. Lights are twinkling and the feeling of love surrounds everything. That's the inspiration for this lovely song. To make it feel even more special, we have taken the theme of hearing bells to the next level by adding handbells (optional). They add a sweet, gentle touch to the piece. As the song transitions from gentle and serene to majestic and grand, the addition of an optional second vocal part adds to the power of the moment. (from Music K-8, Vol. 33, No. 2)
