Thanksgiving Day

"Thanksgiving Day" is meant to be very simple, reflective, and straightforward. It is a secular song about Thanksgiving, which has absolutely nothing to do with Pilgrims, turkeys, football, parades, or the beginning of the Christmas season.

We have included a recorder obbligato both on the teacher's piano/vocal score and as a separate part for ease of duplication. You can treat it as a solo obbligato, or use several recorders along with several voices. (from Music K-8, Vol. 1, No. 2)
