From Plank Road Publishing
This traditional Appalachian carol is done in a 2-part folk arrangement for your older choirs. It has a rangy melody line, but is catchy enough to grab onto fairly quickly. If you can do it, part 2 is well worth the additional work, though it is optional. The text has an old-fashioned flare. And with hammer dulcimer, banjo, and mandolin as part of the traditional acoustic rhythm section on the recording, your audience will be transported to pioneer times.
Our Plank Road Publishing octavos save you the time spent copying and binding and come in the convenient octavo size (7.0" x 10.25") used by choirs. (Please note: These octavos are NOT reproducible.) Also available for each song are fully orchestrated Performance/ Accompaniment recordings, beautifully recorded, and produced as state-of-the-art tracks.
