You've got to hear this exciting arrangement! Most of us have heard and sung this tune since we were kids, but you've never heard it like this. The heart of the arrangement is a foot-tapping rock style with an intriguing new harmonic treatment. The melody and lyrics are traditional, so it can be performed with even your youngest singers.

Actually, the setting has two parts, a "prelude" that is intended for a solo voice, then the bouncy version of the tune, complete with a happy "la" melody for the intro and a final interlude. The recording is broken into two parts so that you can just do the tune by itself or in a more theatrical version with the simple prelude and then the tune itself.

It's a natural for a performance - picture one of your youngest doing the sweet introduction, with your children's choir moving in during the opening of the full song. Your congregation will love it. And there will be a lot of energy because this is just plain fun to sing!
