Solid Rock, The

This striking setting of the great old hymn is sort of "rock in 3." It builds from an expectant intro, full of tight harmonies in the accompaniment of rhythm section and strings. By the chorus, it is a joyous forte with rock guitar and moving strings. Coming out of the second verse there is a big ending with an optional second part, and a big "Amen" to close it.
