When Teresa Jennings set this famous canon, she did so in a truly unique way. In essence, it is a 3-way partner song, but since each part is simple and repetitive, it allows even younger singers to sound quite impressive. The song builds gradually through four statements of the melody leading to a grand "all-bells-and-whistles" ending that features fanfare brass, chimes, and timpani on the superb recorded tracks. As an added plus, this arrangement works as a seasonal selection, or not, as you choose, and it works well in both sacred and secular settings. And for this special song we are giving you the special option of an optional concert band arrangement (in reproducible form) by Paul Jennings (Grade II-II 1/2) that will allow you to combine your school's choirs with its concert band.
