This beautiful setting of the favorite Appalachian folk ballad is set in a "3-part mixed" voicing, with the top two parts in treble clef and the bottom part in bass clef. The third part is specially crafted to work with both changing and unchanged voices. Judging from the reaction of teachers who have used it, this song has been extremely successful with their choirs. Aside from the Performance/Accompaniment recordings we normally provide, this kit also features recordings that isolate the second and third parts for easier rehearsal.
